Mainami Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company”) has the social obligation to protect personal information in an appropriate manner. Efforts are taken to handle personal information based on the privacy policy below.

Privacy Policy

1. Personal information is handled in an appropriate manner

  1. (1) The Company will make clear in advance the purpose of its acquiring personal information.
  2. (2) Personal information acquired is used within the scope of purpose of utilization. Personal information outside the scope of purpose of utilization is not used without the prior consent of the owners of the information.
  3. (3) Personal information acquired shall not be disclosed or provided to third parties, with the exception of the following:
    1. 1. When the company has been given prior consent by the owners of the information.
    2. 2. When outsourcing the handling of personal information to a third party to the extent necessary to achieve the Company’s purposes of use.
    3. 3. When the Company is required to disclose or provide personal information by law or when the disclosure or provision of personal information is allowed by law.
  4. (4) When outsourcing the handling of personal information to a third party to the extent necessary to achieve the Company’s purposes of use, outsourcing companies are managed and supervised in a suitable manner regarding their handling of personal information.

2. Measures are implemented for the safe management of personal information

  1. (1) Having established an Information Security Policy, the Company provides related training to employees while making clear the safety management standards for information assets which include personal information.
  2. (2) The Company has an appropriate information management system which incorporates measures for preventing unauthorized access, computer virus prevention measures, and similar measures in order to prevent leakage, falsification, loss, or unauthorized use of personal information.
  3. (3) Only individuals who have been granted rights by the Company to use personal information within the scope of the purpose of use for specific business tasks shall handle such information, and only to the extent necessary to execute such tasks.

3. Compliance with laws related to the protection of personal information

  1. The Company complies with personal information protection laws and other related laws.

4. Continuous improvement of rules, etc. related to the protection of personal information

  1. The Company continuously reviews regulations and other rules related to the protection of personal information and works to improve them

5. Rights related to personal information are respected

  1. (1) The Company will respond in a swift manner to contact requests related to personal information by owners of the information, as well as to requests for disclosure, correction, and discontinuation of use in accordance with personal information protection laws and other related laws.
  2. (2) In the event that an owner of personal information wishes to check the information, they are asked to contact the division to which they provided their personal information (if personal information was provided via the Internet, they are asked to contact the website management division). The Company will provide personal information which it holds only when it confirms the requester’s identity in order to prevent leakage of personal information to third parties.
  3. (3) The Company will respond to complaints and requests from individuals related to personal information in a swift manner and in good faith.

There are cases when the Company reviews the policy above in an appropriate manner and makes revisions. When this occurs, information describing the revisions will be provided on the company website.
